An exhilarating opportunity for an overnight adventure in the backcountry of Kananaskis Country. This 3-day trip covers a lot of ground. We will travel past the brilliant blue waters of Galatea Lakes, gain panoramic views from Guinn’s and Buller Pass, and enjoy the peace and quiet of camping in sub-alpine forests. A challenging but rewarding trip you do not want to miss!
Trip Dates:
Pre-Trip Meeting: July 13, 2026 (7:00 - 8:00 PM)
Backpacking Trip: July 20-22, 2026
Cost per Person: $440.00 to $485.00
Timeline:
January to April: Expression of Interest & Sign-Up with $50 deposit (can be paid in-store at Spirit West or online)
April 25: Campsites can be booked 90 days in advance. Once we have secured the campsites, full trip payment will be required.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation prior to trip cancellation: A full refund of your $50 deposit
- Cancellation by the Path Less Taken due to situations beyond control (park closures, highway closures, natural disasters, heavy smoke ) - participants can choose to transfer full payment to another PLT trip or be refunded their money in full.
- Cancellations made by the participant within 7 days of the trip start day will receive a 50% refund or transfer full payment to another PLT trip
- No refund for no shows
